Ok, so I just bought cartridges off Facebook. I'm not sure where they are shipping from, but I thought weed in the mail was still a no go because the USPS is fed?
If it's coming from Oregon and staying in Oregon, is that cool now? Again, the label isn't in the system yet, so not sure where they are coming from, though. But I could use my credit card rewards points for them, so that was cool.

It's because the black market in Michigan is shit. You still have a whole lot of illegal grows in Humboldt that Michigan can't compete with.

Well that was not fun.
Sat down in the backyard under the trees to enjoy an afternoon with the wife.
She picked me up a couple pre-rolls for my birthday and I decided to partake yesterday. It had been about 3 or 4 days since I finished my last THC /CBD balanced cartridge and had been out of weed for a week. My normal is Greasy Pink, Ghost Bubba or Blue Coma, all come in between 28-34% THC and 2-3.5% CBD.
The pre-roll was 1/2 gram Dead Hot Strawberry, fully government sealed. 29% THC and 0.6% CBD. I have had this before several times.
Finished it and was fine, nice buzz.
About a half hour later, all of a sudden I started getting severe rushes and huge anxiety. Started sweating like a beast, then the shakes on top. Then the fun really started. Vomiting and lots of it. Ended up laying on a beach towel under the tree or about 4 hours before I could move without vomiting. After about 6 hours, I was able to eat and drink lightly and keep it down. Almost felt like a bad hangover without the massive headache. Slept, but not great. Today I feel like I got hit by the proverbial bus. I can eat and drink, but I'm shaky as fuck.
I have never felt or experienced anything like this in 40 years of use. I am not interested in a repeat visit, so I'm thinking I'm done. Kinda scared about that because it does help greatly with my PCS symptoms (Post Concussion Syndrome)
I'm thinking a touch of CHS (Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome )
Anybody ever experience similar? Thoughts?

Could your weed have been sprayed with an extract. ? I’ve seen some sketchy looking bud sold as Hemp THCA flower that looks like it was coated with something not naturally occurring.

could you have eaten something that didn't agree with your stomach as well?

Not convenience store, but government sealed weed from a licensed dispensary.
Several days later, still not 100 percent - the bus that hit me has been reduced to a small compact car.
Spoke to a relative who I found out was hospitalized twice with CHS a few years ago before it was widely known and from what she says the symptoms seem to line up including relief from hot baths. Apparently it can take up to 10 days for symptoms to resolve.
While not definitive by any stretch of the imagination, that it is enough correlation to imply causation for me. From what I understand, it it was a touch of CHS, then any exposure could cause another incident, which I am not too keen on experiencing again.

But I did hear a buddy from high school still has his business in California, so either the legal weed isn't worth it or folks are just in a habitat of calling him.
I've never bought in California, but the black market in Oregon is pretty dead from what I understand. Shortly after legalization, I got a call from the dude I used to buy from. He still wanted $75 a quarter for whatever strain he might have. I told him I could do way better in the store and haven't heard from him since.

I did daily all through high school, then quit 6 months before boot camp. I didn't think I would ever smoke again until my dad passed in '10. I was nearly 300 pounds and was on 5 different meds for depression and anxiety. After talking with TN, I decided to get my OMMP card. I was off all the meds, was totally productive at work, and dropped 90 pounds in 7 months.
I know which strains work the best and I'm not super high, but I carry a moderate buzz through the day. Keeps my head quiet and leaves me the ability to focus. My primary care wished he could do a study but said the hospital would never because of federal funding. He was pretty blown away but also said he wasn't totally surprised by the results.
Got this shit in the mail today. Kind of blew my mind.
