Heya Guys, I am just getting into Dirt Jumping as I can`t ride any Moto X while I am living in this **** hole called Tokyo.

Does anyone know any trails or places to go riding in or around Tokyo?

I have found some year old references to a place called Fujisawa Biker Cross, located in Fujisawa. Other than that I am lost.

I would apprecizate any first hand advice from anyone who knows more than me about the scene in Tokyo or Japan in general.

I'm not sure of exact DJ spots in Tokyo , pretty sure your going to have to outside the city for any decent riding other than street .
I have ridden outside tokyo in Odaiba just past the big mall and ferris wheel off the JR line.

Give me a day to email me distributer Takashi over there he knows most of the top riders , and should be able to find you a DJ spot or at least some decent people to ride with.

you're referring to Tokyo Dome of JR Yamanote Line, sooo much **** to ride there.. There is ridiculous amounts of street in Tokyo, i remember walking around and being very jealous of all the spot they have over there, and being from NYC, thats saying alot.

so i suggest you get a street bike and kill the pavement.

VAS the spot i rode street was in Odiaba at Tokyo bigsite , there were grass covered doubles and tons of crazy street stuff all around .
On my last trip over I was at thee bike show in Makurhari new city and that place looked like a giant skate plaza / skatepark

TooFAR :As far as Dirt Jumps go in and around Tokyo my importer Takashi said their are 2 underground secret type sport in Tokyo and he will contact the trail bosses out there today to get permission for you to go check them out .

one world...
What kind of riding are you looking for? I'm assuming DJ/Street if you're posting in this forum.
Surrounding area of Tokyo has some pretty good DH within easy trains reach, but wrong season right now.

Street, I don't know why you're asking, you're in a mecca, just ride. Be glad you're working in Tokyo, not Taipei, Taiwan. It's actually hard to ride there.

I've spend much of my time living in Osaka, and I have family near Tokyo, but I've only travelled to Tokyo for vacation so I can't really help you out on any specifics.
W-Base is a pretty sweet shop, but you'll have to just make some friends if you want some escort service.
Where are you located in Tokyo?
Another good shop is called Guava Jelly.... among a few others...

Riders seem to be laying a bit low with this cold weather... but if you're ever south near Osaka, let me know and maybe we can ride.

By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what do you do for Honda? You mention MX.
I've ridden a bit, I've got an '04 CRF250R, and an '05 crf50 decked out and bored up to 88takegawa kit, fox float, etc, etc... Fun stuff.

...and seriously, the USD may be crap over there at the moment, but you shouldn't dread your time there. It's a great place if you can learn to enjoy it.

Oh hey, Brad, you must be talking about "Venus Fort", the giant mall there... Cool place. When I was there a few years ago, I think it was, damn it, can't think of her name, oh damn, ah, some little girl popstar was singing there on a stage... kind of goth pop... oh well.
Yeah, and very cool Toyota Museum too.

Odiba is super fun for street the first rail I ever did is out there , long downhill rail , lil angled bank to help you ain onto it and a huge grass hill on your right to fall into
