Hey all, few quick questions,

1) Does anyone have any idea what the rrp was on the 2000 tomac 204 lawill frames?

2) The lawill tomac does not have a floating brake, yet the shock is mounted from the swingarm to the swingarm to give an almost floating swingarm effect. Can anyone enlighten me on brake jack, how bad is it? is it even there at all? etc.

3) My mate rekons the kona stab primo is lawill, however, im not convinced, can anyone shed some light on this possibly?

Cheers.

1. Retail was HUGE, like close to $3,000.

2. Don't know about jack. The surpose of the shock mounting the way it does was to alter the spring rate.

3. It is nothing like any Kona. The Kona is basicly a single pivot, with a linkage driving the shock. Same family as a Giant. The wheel is mounted to the chainstay/swingarm. The Tomac has 2 pivot points netween the r axle and the frame. The parallelogram linkage is designed to track the r wheel out and away from the frame.

Okay cheers, ive since found out the kona definately isnt lawill, as the rear axel has to be mounted onto the part of the swingarm parralell to the shock, not the chainstay.

I heard the rrp was close to $3000, but was after an exact figure in UK pounds, whatever there import cost was for insurance puposes,

Anyone?

[EDIT] As for shock choice, ive seen an avy in one, any other options? im not too keen on the manitou bazooka that comes in it.

Cheers
