The Cleft of Venus
I usually ride a 10 mile trail that's near my office after work. The weather was fantastic and the trail is in excellent condition so I took my camera along and took the time to make some pix.

This is the trail head where we park and unload the bikes. Those are cypress trees in the background.

There are a lot of cool sites on this trail. This is one of the numerous WWII era bomb craters from when the area was a bombing range. There is the occational UXO that surfaces and has to be removed by EOD.

A section of the trail that runs through a natural prairie.

Here is my riding partner. The photographer needs to practice!

Lots of oil and gas well drilling going on!

Flying thru the woods at dusk...

Post ride brews...

Nothing like sitting back, drinking a frosty cold one, talking with friends and watching the sun set over the lake.
