I remember lusting for an Amp B4 back when I first started MTBing. Pretty pricey back then. I guess they were great riding bikes when they worked, but they had issues with undersized bearings and shock shafts.

AMP also had some of the first disc brakes and linkage forks. They were also using the horst link way back when. They were pretty dorky back in the day and still are, but did innovate some new stuff.

It's a cool piece of history, a lot of tech geeks had permaboners from that bike.
