So customer came in said he thinks his fork needs service it's been a while.rebound knob was seized, he had no idea lol and it was bent...

...so I assume ball and detend we're over rotated and locked...NOPE...
Had a bad case of funk lmao....there was a tiny amount of oil in it but looked more like mud

That's pretty common on all Fox forks without the cover for the rebound knob(s). Water gets in and seized everything.
I guess that Fox wants it that way to push you to buy the high end stuff. They have had this feature for years!

That's good to know I knew it was the elements causing the corrosion just wasn't sure how...
Well that's a bummer it won't make you faster..

Can you do a regular strip down yourself to prevent this or is it a case of sending to a specialist.
