@SylentK i was looking at Soapstone Prairie but like you alluded to, seems like smooth and buff and maybe not where I want to take a 150mm bike.

I'll mostly be riding Pilot Hill/Gowdy/Happy Jack/Vedavouu/Snowy Mtns around Laramie but have the mid-week freedom to drop down to the FR for late morning shreddys.

Yeah, If you're in Wyo, just do Wyo. Explore, have fun. Enjoy the fact that no one else is near you. :D

The weather is here, wish you were beautiful! (stole that from Full Trucker a long time ago) Actually check the weather, Saturday is supposed to get rain??? IDK. It is the rocky mountains :D

Bring 2 sets of gloves. And do NOT trade your Toyota truck for a bad boy moto that supposedly gets a gazzilion miles to the gallon. Dumb and Dumber raght thar. :D

"Check out the butt on that. Yeah. He must work out." - Said no one in Wyo :D

It's very much enjoyed but I like people too. I'm more or less a Laramie local at this point, been hanging out here for 15+ years now!

Some of you fuckers can ride late AM mid week and were gonna try and make something happen.

That’s funny, we had cheeseburgers for dinner. Green chile cheese bacon cheeseburgers with fries. Smashburger style.
I was craving a burger on Saturday and saw Helvatia Tavern was ranked 3rd best burger and it had been a while, so I stopped. Totally worth it.

Went into the woods to pick some mushrooms. Hit the first honeyhole within 5 minutes and the next one 5 minutes after that. I guess it chanterelles for dinner for the foreseeable future…

Back home. Just a few km short of hitting 3000km worth of driving. The quickest way back from Knoxville sucked ass, as it took us through Ohio and then Detroit. BORING. But eastern Kentucky is nice, had never been there before.

Almost screwed up after crossing the border. Was accelerating onto the freeway and was wondering why everyone was going so slow. I had forgotten that I changed the speedometer to mph. Was doing over 80mph when I realized my error, won't do that again. :D

In typical fashion, we got grilled with questions at the border. Unlike going to the states where they have always simply asked where we're going and wave us through (not complaining!)

we have a place we often rent in northern ga where the woods behind the house is always *filled* with them! so good...harder to find them around here but there are some spots by my local trail where they pop up in the right conditions.

Yeah, we usually find some while out riding, but this year is crazy. I literally tripped over one. They’re that big and prolific!!
