Is there a similar site that keeps tabs on regeimes who's leaders just change the law to suit their own, previously illegal ends?

Now that'd be interesting!

7. Alberto Fujimori President of Peru, 1990-2000 US$ 600 million

lol, U missed that one. 7th!!!

i think that 600m is very very conservative. i've met in miami once one of the SOB sons of his right hand. he owns a fleet of lamborghinis, ferraris and bentleys in miami. yet he only goes there 1 month a year.
and thats only the 23years old son of one of the big guys!!

i'd say its probably around 2-3billion bucks. which incidentally, is whats missing from the 10 year budget of his gvmt.

What's even more scandalous is that he remains in exile in Japan with the Japanese refusing to extradite him to Peru. He was granted Japanese citizenship almost immediately upon arriving in Japan. Rumour has it that he is "influential" among the bigwigs of the LDP in Japan and there has been whispers of him running for political office in Japan:eek:

hahaha, noooo! whats its even worse, is that people still love him!!!

if election were run in a month, without naming candidates, 30% of people would vote for him!!!!

actually, all that japanese crap is very strange. he is the son of a japanese inmigrant family. his birth certificate was lost, and its supposed that his family came with 2 kids, and a pregnant mom. nobody knows is he came un-born or was one of the kids that came in a ship. he was japanese before hand in a sort of dark way, because nobody but him and the japanese emabssy knew that. btw its illegal to run for president if you have other nationality than peruvian.

and the most weird thing is this. usually most japanese inmigrants at that time, whenever arriving to peru, changed the birthdate of their small children to july 28th (peru independance) to show some sort of patriotism to mitigate xenophoby and to ease inmigration papers.

fujimoris birthday is july 28th.

south america is a wonderland. is very surreal almost kafkian.
