I've got a Manitou Sherman on a 2005 Cannondale Gemini that I've got. I notice that when the fork tops out, I hear a thunk. It's not super harsh, but I do still hear it. I've checked all the pressure settings and I don't get it.
I've also emailed Manitou and they must filter everything into a black hole because I've never heard a word from those guys--even after 3 emails.
Anyone had similar experiences with their 05 Shermans? What about the Nixon? I had the same thing happenning with the Nixon Platinum on my Giant Reign 1 and it eventually got so bad that I had to send the fork back to be rebuilt.
This Sherman isn't progressing like the Nixon did, but it sill worries me.
Again... what's the deal with Manipoo these days? Seems like their forks are all buggy.
