Most of these are obviously in Scotland where no-one notices them.
When I was at secondary school, we a had a proper one which is famous for not being forecasted at all. It affected the whole of the south east though. All the busses were cancelled due to the danger of being blown over and we had to walk across the causeway to the island where I lived. That was windy.
