So, I finally got a bit torrent client, and I downloaded a program, but the file type is a .uif. What do I need to open this?

If you ever have a question about a file type, just go to Google and put in "<file type> file" - for instance, I just plugged in ".uif file" and got this:

why the hell do people use such annoying methods for files?

Like why compress an already compressed mpg or divx or xvid file into a tar or zip? For one thing, it's compressed, yeah? Another, you then have to unzip the damn thing.

I agree... Nothing more obnoxious than to un-RAR a file only to find a zip file inside.

These idiots put a compressed file inside a zip file inside a RAR file, to lose 2 megs off a 4gb download
