At first I thought you meant the Aptera, which I believe I've been calling vaporware since it's inception.
watched the Aptera video. thanks for the heads up @6thElement ! perhaps my investment in them shall not be wasted. the new CF process is cool and the gear tunnel profile change is undeniably good. tent is super stupid

class 4 shingles as an upgrade at no extra charge. signed on with the roofing company that completed my to-the-right neighbor's roof recently. $5k deposited with them (my deductible), and my out of pocket cost may end up being a bit less than that depending on what Nationwide ultimately shells out for gutters, hot tub cover, etc. that I don't plan to replace.
I still don't have an estimate for Nationwide but my contract is for their compensation to be Nationwide's payment ex deductible. they lose some and make some on various deals but come out ahead in the aggregate, and that's fine with me as my liability is thus fixed and predicable.

I wonder if the mountain house utility company will ever figure out that their smart meter (for net metering and time of use pricing) is reporting erroneous data

must be a bug in the visualization engine here, because their own figures don't match up.
going into this month's bill I had 545 kWh of overproduction banked with them. then this month the house used 105 kWh net (510 kWh produced, 615 kWh drawn from grid). 440 now in the bank.
Rode Belcher - Maverick - (lower half of) Upper Longhorn - Shorthorn - back down remainder of Belcher.
we discussed this very segment on Shorthorn about 6 years ago, @Nick . rode it today on the first try (downwards, this looking back up at it after riding it). line choice was to rider's right and that worked.
thunder and lightning audible off towards @6thElement but only got a few drops of rain and didn't get electrocuted or anything
this section on the climb 200' uphill past the insertion of Whippletree has been modified by the trail gnomes. now it's filled in on the left with dirt and rocks instead of the growing chasm. and that's eminently rideable.

second key fob for the Busy Forks: in my paws. But the original dealer forgot to give me the second key shank, the little slide out backup key. It’ll still work with the fob as long as the fob is alive, and won’t be an issue during our two years of leasing.
I left the original dealer’s customer relations manager a voicemail, though, to see if I can get this resolved on the up and up. Hopefully they can just mail me it. (As a side note my original sales guy, who did a great job all via email, no longer works for them. His desk phone has someone else’s voicemail on it now.)
