This is so brutal. I can not believe they let him finish the ride. Horner is totally lost when he comes over the finish line:

Wow, he looks pretty out of sorts. I hope he is alright...This is so brutal. I can not believe they let him finish the ride. Horner is totally lost when he comes over the finish line:

This. Holy crap.He's totally out.
Should have never been allowed back on the bike. Doctor fail.
To be fair, watching easily Andy cover Contador's "attacks" in the final kilometers showed that he might be in better form than he's being given credit for right now...we'll see when the real climbs start.Schlecks didn't get dropped, so now they're confident
Broken pelvis, ouch.God this a brutal tour this year. Vino's crashed out and it did not look good.
No ****. Stupid move to start with but all he had to do was hit the brakes. Even then if you have the choice to hit a tree or a person, go for the tree. The driver of the car needs to be beat.
I'm reading the crash was basicly due to the driver disobeying orders to slow down (something along those lines). My guess is his attention was on the cyclists, saw the tree too late and, by pure instinct, made a sharp turn in the opposite sense. But even if he had crashed into the tree, there were some cars, bikes & motos immediately behind the car...No ****. Stupid move to start with but all he had to do was hit the brakes. Even then if you have the choice to hit a tree or a person, go for the tree.
But the bikes probably cost more than the cars.Even in the actual goddamn Tour de France, a driver would rather wipe out a cyclist than do damage to his vehicle...
How long before the domestiques start carrying wrenches in their pockets?
Hoogerland has really been lucky. Crashing into barbed wire like that and coming out "only" with scratches ]
I think it was french ...... threw his hands up in surrender too quickly.
lol!!i have a rifle i'll sale you...never been fired and only dropped once
I'm surprised no one is talking about Vino or Frank.
Cuz they haven't done anything of note yet. Vino will probably go for one of the more mellow climbing stages I'm sure... likely in one of his from a distance, vino style suicide missions.
Quite a few big mountains still for fingerbang to go bouncy bouncy up.Frank looked super strong, BTW, but if Evans can hang in there and limit damage to seconds, then He'll likely take this Tour in the TT.
I think it depends on whether or not they pass one of the monuments61mph+ on those hills is nuts.
do they still stop in one mountain stage to pay respect to the riders that have died?
Is the one black dude they've ever let in this race still in it?Isn't Evans the guy who usually has one bad day where he'll drop 5 minutes?
We could have a darkhorse win it this year...
Think he can hold to Paris? He is riding a hell of a lot better than anyone thought, and he had a teammate to boot at the end. Only other team that had two was Lep-Trek.Voeckler is one tenacious guy in yellow.
