Anyone actually had to use one of the modern TPU tubes after puncturing their tubeless while out riding? Contemplating one due to the size/weight advantages.

Yes, I have one on every bike, but have never had to use one, luckily/knock on wood.

Too hard to find on my phone, but basically a few people actually had to use it and…it wouldn’t hold air.

I used the FOSS ones many moons ago. I even managed to patch them with a cigarette lighter a couple of times. But their pinch-flat resistance is almost nonexistent, so I'd count on them only to get off the trails, back into the civilization.
