I bought a switchblade because it fit me better. I wouldn't get rid of your Tracer unless you are ready for a new bike.

I did a bit of research on this issue, as I was looking for a used frame, and it was between the Tracer and the Switchblade. I ran across more people who had problems with the durability of Tracer than the Switch, so that determined it for me.

I got a Switch from eBay, and have only had a few rides on it. So far, I'm totally diggin' it. It has what I would call "very good manners", in that it does what you want and what you expect. The rear doesn't fell as plush as others, but that may be the air vs. coil issue.

I agree with Fonseca, though; don't get rid of your current bike if it's still working. My guess is that the ride diff between the two is minimal, as much as each company's marketing literature would have you believe otherwise.

I have to agree with that one...why move on unless you don't like the current frame or want something new. I would ride it and send it back to Intense if you ever have any problems. I'm not sure what their warranty would be after the first 2 years, but it is a pretty stand up company so I would think they would offer at least a crash replacement type of warranty.
