since I only got one contact so far... I'll post here as well

I am trying to gather some information on getting some 'freeridish' trails or stunts built on a nearby mountain, that already has xc trails. I'm looking for groups, clubs, teams, or anyone who had built this type of trail. I need examples of successfull trails building programs, and proposals, so I can talk to the forset rangers and the town. Legal documets... if you have had that experience, or you can refer me to someone, please post.

Where are you? I know MORE has been working with land managers to get some of this stuff built locally. Check their website (link in sig). Did you check the IMBA site for info?

yea I just checked the IMBA site, and they do have a list of freeride parks, so I'm gona try and contact them. I donno how much MORE can help us, because we're in the blacksburg SW virginia area.
