I was wondering if anyone knows of any trails in Half Moon Bay, Calirfornia. The closest DH I know of is Montara MTN and althought it is amazing I was wondering if there was anything within riding distance.

Trails in HMB?

Check out Purisima OSP - it's right above HMB off Skyline. In the summer, Whittemore Gulch is bad ass buffed-out ST - it's legal, but I think it might still be closed to bikes (it closes to bikes seasonally). If you are in a gnarly XC mood, climbing Harkin (sp) ridge from the bottom to get to the top of Whittemore. If you can clean that you deserve to have your picture on a box of wheaties.
You can't go on weekends, as there are too many hikers and blind corners - best as a weekday ride, and whenever you go, strap a bell under your seat. It would suck for us to lose this as a legal trail.
