Can anyone recommend some good trails in the UP? I'm planning on a weekend trip up there this march. I haven't done any research yet. Is there going to be too much snow up there? If not, where can I find the goods?

There will likely be too much snow. I went backpacking in the Porkies after graduating college in late April a long time ago and we ran into some *serious* snow issues.
That said, it could get warm and melt everything and then you'll just have to deal with mud.

Michigan Tech Trails? Anyone know anything about them? conditions? techiness? etc......
