Just moved to a house with hardwood...yeah. My Cyclops Fluid makes the house sound like it's lifting off. Are the mats any good for quieting the vibration? My housemate claims it doesn't bug him, but 4 hours of "VVVVVTTTTTTTTTT" has to be fvcking annoying.

I've got a rug and some crap crammed underneath it right now, but it doesn't make much of a difference.

I went from a Mag to a Fluid, and it is relatively still.

Put it this way, I used to listen to the TV at 30 out of 50, and now I listen to it at 20.

Place the legs inside some sneakers. The elastomer soles will do a great job damping the vibration.

I just switched to a true trainer tire and the noise was cut in half. I can actually watch TV now at a normal volume.
