not the film, sickboy, but actually doing it.

in a round-a-bout way, starting here at artiloop, then meandering to the maryland rail site, then reading up on electronic railroaders, it seems that there have been events in the last few years where shutterbugs were shutdown in the interest of "national security" (most incidents i found were in canada, no less).

is this nothing more than hyper-sensitive-gotta-get-anyone-whose-eyes-aren't-front isolated incidents, or are we now entering into a climate of uber-police-state paranioa?

Airplane websites are full of stories of planespotters getting shut-down by pricks with a badge. I imagine it's the same for trainspotters. They're just sad old men in anoraks, leave 'em alone.
