I'm ordering a Blindside, and I need to know what spring weight to request.

I weigh 190 and I'm getting a Rock Shox vivid 5.1.

I need info fast because the bike is getting shipped tomorrow.

I'm about 208 pre-gear right now And im running a 550lb, but probably need to setup to a 600lb spring. I got a CCDB

go for 550. im 180 with gear and doin a 550.

do 8.1/2.75 times your wieght. easy way to tell

Ok that's 3 for 550, 2 replies here, and dealer suggested 550.

remember tho that BB still sits pretty low, so size your cranks accordingly. I measured my bb to be 13.6" which seems to be the average most people are getting and thats with a 888 with the crowns at the lowest. I'm smacking alot with 170s, I'm considering going up a spring rate and/or dropping to 165s.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be running an 888 as well. Guess we'll see if I smack alot. I'm going from a AS-X which is fairly high.
