:( Just got an email back from Answer and it looks like the 203mm Travis SC has a 595mm A-C. That's tall! Too tall!

    Get the 180mm version instead.

Doug you should get the single crown for you're Yeti. Then you could do some sweet barspins in you're DH runs to "break things up" some.

aha just as tall as the original 888 at its lowest

anyone know if there is going to be an issue with the arch hitting the downtubes on some bikes? the preproduction ones i saw looked like some frame designs might have problems with arch clearance on bottom out, or maybe theyve changed something?

Does this mean that the DC Travis will have the same A-C?

I don't remember the numbers offhand, but somebody posted them on mtbr somewhere. The dual crown is shorter.

What'd you expect from an 8" single crown?

Even with 1.5, it's gonna be taller than a DC, you just need more material at the crown. And yeah, the DC is a little lower.

Get a custom frame or get a DC.
