howdy, i'm trying to setup up my azonic ds-1 as somewhat of a trials bike, haven't been able to figure out the stem length and handlebar size/rise yet. i have trouble lifting the bike over stuff. got any suggestions? i'm running a 14" frame, with a powertools shorty dh stem and a 2.5" riser bar. seems too laid back for me, how do i fix this? and i'm 5'9" if that helps any. thanks.

For a full-on trial bike I'd say you'd need a 100-130 mm stem.

However, you should be able to bunny-hop over everything, even with a 0 reach stem.

The advantage in having a longer stem, is that it get's more comfortable to jump around on the rear wheel and going up steep objects.

Also a 2.5" bar is maybe a bit high, for full-on trial.
