Can i put a manitou sherman or any kind of triple crown fork on a six inch bike - in this case a Giant Reign ???

You should be fine with a 6-7" travel dual-crown fork. You definatley can also put an 8" fork on it, but it will slacken the headangle by maybe a degree or so. The frame will probably be able to handle it though, putting a 8" travel fork on a bike designed for a 6" fork isn't too big of a deal. It's putting an 8" fork on a bike that is designed for a 3-5" fork that would seriously mess things up.
