Ok peeps, I need some help.
Company Xmas party is coming up and our exchange gift theme is anything "tropical." This company is crazy about liqour, single malt scotch and that type. My question now is, is there any good quality hard liqour from the tropics (hawaii, far east)? Or types of liqour, alcoholic beverages that I can relate to "tropical?" Thanks.

How far east do you want to go? Japan makes some killer whisky...besides that, I think you may be in trouble, unless you want to go with a nice rum.

The only thing I can think of off hand with the tropicalness, would be like Malibu Rum, or Captian Morgan coconut rum. Quality is okay, but fits the tropical theme.

my knowledge of mixed tropical drinks is quite limited, but you can't go wrong w/ Mojitos or Caipirinhas. hopefully you can find this:
