Every time i double click my documents, it take at least 2 mintues to load. Is this a virus? I clicked it then went online and typed this paragraph. My pc never used to do this, what could be the problem?

is your system expecting to be on a network when there is none available (& therefore timing out)? check that first; also, check processses (taskman) to see who's hoggin' resources.

of course, you do keep your virus defs updated (at least weekly), ya?

More questions...

Does your system run okay otherwise? What if you open other folders on your computer, do they open quickly or take the same amount of time? Do you have a tremendous amount of files in "My Documents"? Are you using the thumbnail view?

Do you keep your drive defragmented, virus definitions updated, and the computer generally clean and running well?

What about porn? Do you have any porn? Specifically, there was this movie with this red haired chick and blond chick... I deleted mine and have been looking for another copy of it for weeks! ;)

Everything seems to be good otherwise I guess. I dont have any virus protection  but am very good with spyware and cookies. I only have 1 GB left of space in my harddrive if that helps?

You ever get this fixed, mack?

For troubleshooting steps, try moving everything OUT of the My Documents directory and into a "normal" directory (on your desktop, for instance). Then see if My Documents still opens slowly. If it opens quickly, see if the folder you moved the chit into opens slowly.
