I'm still on the fence about whether Brian is a marginally effective troll or is, in fact, as dumb as his posts would indicate. Leaning towards the latter.

Just watch, this will end up circling back to papa Joe down the road. Sorry I can't see how an average Joe could make over $11M in a book deal & speaking engagements in one year. He's not even close to Obama's league. IMO, a little money laundering was going on

obama got a $65 million *advance* for his book deal.

clinton got $15 million, Bush Jr got $10 million.
Yeah, he's not really used to presidents having a command of the English language beyond a 4th grade level, so I can see how these figures might appear high to him.

Obama’s memoir sold nearly 900,000 copies in 24 hours. Assume a $20 average price (hard cover, paperback, e sales, so I’m just guessing here) and that’s $18,000,000 gross sales in a day. I’m sure Joe wouldn’t get those numbers, but a book deal and a year of sales clearly has the potential to make big numbers.

The Bidens got a $8 million, 3-book deal. The president-elect still has one more to write. I hope it's called Will You Shut the Hell Up, Man?

Remember how the RNC paid $300,000 dollars for copies of Don Jr's book? Meaning Jr probably sold $300,020 worth of books. A book I can only assume was printed in CHINA! Many people are saying it.

Srsly - someone from my HS is on about this SAME shit. It must be December 9th's Conservative Media Talking Point of the Day?
At the end of the day, twitter & facebook pulled the story claiming their "fact checkers found them to be false and part of a Trump smear campaign before the election" when it was true all a long. This is scary stuff knowing how the media can control the narrative of they want you to believe or not believe. This should not be allowed for either side in the US, EVER!

What did their VP's get for a book deal?
several million each.

but to your point, it's not *just* the book deals. speaking fees can pull a LOT of money. former VP cheney charges at least $75k per event - but that figure doesn't include first class travel and accommodations, which is part of his rider (which should be noted - are tax deductible and thus reported).

on biden, please note - this was his own financial disclosure:

The new documents show Joe Biden earned more than $4 million in late 2017 and 2018 from giving more than four dozen speeches, banking up to $235,000 for one appearance. He was paid $540,484 for in role at the University of Pennsylvania. And he owns a corporation, established to handle his post-White House speaking and book deals, now valued at between $1 and $5 million.

Sounds like bootstraps and capitalism.

I'm gonna get under that big tent Biden pitched.

You guys, I'm convinced. I think I'm going to not vote for hunter biden in 2020.

Because if there's one thing I can get behind, it's whining about the guy with one grifter kid who was only a grifter after his dad was in office, while fulling supporting the other one with three grifter kids actively violating every emolument, and nepotism clause this country has ever had in place.

I bet if you compared hunter's education and professional work experience with those three, the case would be even stronger, right brian?
