That's just bad product disposition from QA

That is just another bullshit example showing how fucked up our society is.
i'm wondering if a trust fork will dissolve if it's not mounted to the front of an evil or pivot?
Or an Ibis? Kendall-Weed has one on his HD4 at the moment...
that's right, the weed does have one.
It probably morphs into an RST on non Weagle designed bikes though...
curious to hear his take. dude is a proper shredder.
Well, for the price of the fork they should just throw in a 130mm travel bike for free with it?
I asked if the seals where still holding up and no reply.
4" of carbon spacers under the HT.
My main gig is in corporate retail, you wouldn't believe the amount of effort that goes into packaging. It seems like a waste but it really is necessary w/ how competitive things are these days. The TRUST box does seem over the top but it is really nice, I am sure that was just an initial launch thing, betting we see that packaging slowly change over the next couple years.
Shimano packaging always impresses me, open high end parts and the box is a display case for the main piece, all the little parts hidden, nothing can scratch another piece.
Damn rich box engineers.
They should take a note from Manitou with the Dorado case for service shipping.....
in my industry, protective packaging is required by federal law.
i. fucking. wish.
Is it also a federal law that protective packaging be almost impossible to open?? Like all those plastic cases
unless you're a surgeon or nurse tech, you're not opening the packaging i design.
Wanna get rich? start a contest show where you give 45 seconds or less to people for unpacking shit, and then putting back again inside the same box, the same way it was packed.
hammer, bolt cutters, death wheel. I WILL get in.
It might, however, negate the "protective" aspect.......
it'll end the same way "to catch a predator" ended
it's mostly to prevent pilferage. or just laziness.
Just Revel in the fact that these guys didn't Trust the Message enough to put it on their new 130 frame
how about that?
where is that fly on the wall
^have to say, i'm a colin furze fanboy. seriously fun projects, with mad fab skills to match.
Yeah Colin rules
I had a look and his show is a funny concept but wearing a neck tie in a machine shop would have given my high school shop teacher a heart attack. Crazy Brits.
to be fair, he does usually tuck in the tie when operating rotating machinery. it's a carefully curated brand image.
My British grandfather would wear a jacket and tie everyday, when he had to mow the lawn or change the oil in his car he would just put on a pair of overalls.
He owned a Jacket?
Sounds a bit English to me.
Cambridgeshirish if you want to get specific.
Always did see you as part southerner Westy
it's the hat.
Here's a Jeff Kendall Weed video with that crazy trust fund fork.
That JKW dude sure did put on a clinic. Perhaps a bit too many trials moves for me, but still a fun watch.
I'm still in line with Ice-T's mumma on this:
Don't trust them!
Counterpoint: Chris Akrigg made the same video on a cargo bike.
I can’t help but note he spent a huge amount of that video with the front wheel in the air. You know, not actually using the suspension part of the fork
On the flip side, he seemed fine with plenty of those “slap down” landings which are supposed to be super harsh…
