You're probably thinking of Hussefelts. As long as you use pedal washers, the Holzfellers are money.Sir_Crackien said:i'm not a fan. i have seen to many tweaked and treads striped

Calm down champ I'm just sayin' that judging crankarms by how long the paint lasts seems like judging suspension performance by what color the numbers are on the spring.partsbara said:you tell me since you seem to know it all my point is that in 1 RIDE the paint has worn off... my painted fsa pounders have lost minimal paint and i ve ridden the p1ss outta them
And if you are thinking of Holzfellers, it's probably because they didn't use the pedal washers that come with the cranks.Sir_Crackien said:i'm not a fan. i have seen to many tweaked and treads striped
if you refer back to my first post you ll see that i mentioned that the paint was cosmetic only... and that it doesn t bother me... all i truly care about is performance...Echo said:Calm down champ I'm just sayin' that judging crankarms by how long the paint lasts seems like judging suspension performance by what color the numbers are on the spring.
You're right, they're either polished or anodized black, not painted. The black ano finish wears off for some strange reason. I bought a pair of black Holzfellers for my hardtail, and after seeing the black finish start to disappear, I bought a pair of polished Holzfellers for my DH bike.TWISTED said:I didn't know Truvativ sold painted Holzfellers. Polished or ano black. They work great, I haven't broken or had any problems with mine.
lol, you really want to get rid of your Truvativs...they don't match the rest of you bike anymore.partsbara said:if you refer back to my first post you ll see that i mentioned that the paint was cosmetic only... and that it doesn t bother me... all i truly care about is performance...
i just wanted to make the point that it is pretty poor that the paint rubs off so quickly... thats the long and short of it... unlike 'fr-rider' i don t care how shiny my bike is  fricken burg frankenstein eXtrenist

Actually today was a good day, Smitty and I hit the big jumps and drops on the second part of the course. The biggest jump was about 8 meters...easy.partsbara said:you ll be crying like a little biotch... wait till the tomac is back in action wh0re... :dancing: :dancing: ink: you queers shuttle that place or what ???
