not really sure why 'somebody' gave me a bad reputation, i was just sayin. oh i guess my spelling was off a little. I guess that’s worth calling somebody an idiot. I used to think you gotta a bad rap, guess I was wrong.
Are you looking to build up your own set or go the pre-built route?
I just built two sets of wheels using Mavic XM819 and although I haven't used them yet I am impressed with their construction and design. They cost about $150 pair from Nashbar. But you have to buy a special tool to install the nipples which Nashbar doesn't carry, you have to order from a local Mavic dealer (around $15). Also remember to order 16mm nipples. The sets I built using Tamer hubs, 32 2.0mm DT Champions and brass nipples weigh exactly the same as the pre-SL CrossMaxes.
