My hand is far from resting.

And maybe this is an issue with some cars, but the shift gate on the C5/6 is crazy tight. While it was out for the clutch, the shift linkage was checked and was well within spec. Not bad for 140k miles. Maybe if I hung from it or something.

<edit> I was going to have the forks swapped out, but it just needed adjustment. There is an upgrade for them, but the OE forks are pretty buff.

there is an effort locally to reintroduce them widely. i've been considering trying to contribute in my yard.

I have three big ones that I planted near my house, 30+ feet high, producing seed, and no sign of blight, knock on wood.
