Good Morning!!!

It's a hot and humid week here....I just can't seem to do a thing with my chest hair. So unmanageable in this weather...

Monday really dragged on forever until I got home - then it zipped by. That really sucked.

You guys doing OK?

wooo we have a cool day in store..forecast high of only 84 breaking the string of 100+ days (believe it when I see it)

Ruth texted me , she is safely in Mexico City and will be heading home on Friday after two weeks on the road, One good thing about her being gone is that our rescue pup seems to have gotten over his anxiety about me and comes running up to play and get belly rubs just like our other dogs do.

Rolled the dice that it wouldn't rain today, took the Jeep with no doors and top. Looking out the window, already regretting that decision.

The good news is, it's dog night/new beer release type event tonight at Night Shift brewing, so the whole fam damily will be attending.

In hell. Welcome!
My eldest is lifeguarding this summer at the local rec district. I don't think he's had to deal with poop in the pool yet.

Edit: Dammit! Sniped by the IRB
Speaking of rec turd references, I am guessing this british gem of a movie is not widely known around these parts (NSFW)

If you think Trump is bad move to Poland. Our "Law and Justice" party just abolished separation between the Judiciary the Government. The minister of justice will not be able to fire judges and can control "cases important for the country". The worst part is our idiotic oposition still allows to talk only old politicians who think we need more privatisation, economic deregulation to fight with "socialist attacks". Yeah inequality is rising, people got pissed and they think Reagonomics is the solution in 2017 in Yurp ffs.

On the bright side my psychiatrist prescribed me meds again so I'm no longer angry at the above (or anything else).

Morning Monkeys.

Strong coffee in hand, ready to kick this day in the nuts. Got a new suit last night for the funeral, trying to get work wrapped up before I'm out a week. It wouldn't be so bad if last week hadn't been such a sh!tshow. But crushing it this week, or killing folks. Either way I leave Sunday for Helltown. We did score a wick cheap room in Weed since it is half way and we've never stayed there. Part of me wants to take my car, but all the crap I've done to it lately makes me a little nervous.

I actually hate Tuesdays more than Mondays.

I bet a bunch of people who make fun of minivans drive around in crossover SUVs. Which is basically like marrying a transvestite without ever looking under the hood.
I have tried to explain this to Wifey endless times. She drives a minivan that is a pita to get in and out of. She refuses to acknowledge it.

Minivan with all the seats ripped out would be a badass bike hauler.

How many monkeys have had a bike stolen out of the back of their "manly" trucks?

Would you like to borrow my '01 Honda minivan with 230K miles? I don't have any qualms about it being able to make the drive out to you and then on to your function. :D
We are taking the wifes CRV, but it isn't as fun down 101 as my car is. I might take it in and get the front tires swapped and take it if it runs great all this week. Otherwise we take the Honda and I5 south forever.

It's strange... I've run across quite a number of moms who categorically refuse to have a minivan. Even though they actually already have a minivan (wagon or crossover) which is simply WAY less functional than a minivan.

Sometimes image is really important.

I, for one, like this image:
