On a bike trip to the Chilcotins, a buddy of mine was told the horses (that brought supplies to the cabin) were at the stakes outside. He thought the horses were being fed meat and was jealous. this was... ten years ago?! we still tease his mercilessly.

I’ve got a new boss starting this week and I have my introductory call coming up soon. I had to ask my coworker - does new boss have a wild accent or speech pattern? While I was eating breakfast I had this random thought of - what if he’s impossible to understand?! I think it’s probably rooted in the reality that my very first accounting professor had a challenging accent and spoke over a PA system in a 300+ person hall.
…I’ve been informed there is an accent but nothing noteworthy.

I am traffic (of one) no other cars at the put in and just a couple walk in fisherman.

Outside the hangry bears this is the best time of year in the Northern Rockies, in between tourist / breeder season and hunting season, "moderate" fitness/ fatness and warm days cool nights.

Only downside is my bike ride back to the car will be by braille...

Awesome post work trail ride with wifey, 12.25 miles and 2400ft of vert. Slightly suboptimal in that her dropper cable broke/detached itself from the dropper inside the seat-tube on the descent.

Put the cleats on my Shoes and took the bike out for a spin. Way easier to clip in and out of the Time MX pedals than my old Time Z Pedals. Now to see how they work in the dirt and how they last.
