Unfortunately not. I am going to miss some important meetings with the existing team in Ireland later this month. My passport won't be arriving before December.

The best was being in the hospital bed all bagged up and having to pee while friends were visiting. I figured nobody would notice so I decided to have at it. The plan went off the rails immediately as the last nurse to empty the bag forgot to close it back up, so everything just started draining out of the bag… which was dangerously close to where my friend’s foot happened to be. She might’ve let me pee on her feet in other circumstances, but probably (edit to add “not”) as a surprise in that setting.

I have been using those Pedro’s ones on carbon rims for ten years, not one mishap of any kind. (Knocks on wood). You just have to be very careful.
I’ve heard a bead jack works on those. Glad to hear the pain is real, I avoided tubeless and went with latex for that reason
This is replacing like for like with an older 5000 TL that I had on the shelf, not sure if the new replacement model 5000 S is easier. I'll probably find out next year :/
