Serious question, is this the new version of getting paid with checks tied to a credit card (something i've experienced :panic:) or some sort of shifty tax dodge? At least I could cash the credit card check to pay my rent.
probably a way to keep it off payroll numbers

They said it was faster than cutting a check (Corp office in Atlanta). The payroll system goofed and only paid me for 8 hrs of sick time and not the 32 hrs worked. It happened twice, I declined but I could have taken it to the bank, had them drain the card into my account, but I didn't feel good about the mess.

I was paid the following week both times.
