Almost 7pm and it's 90° out in the backyard hammock. Trying to motivate myself to get up and go grab another cold beer. Major fail to not bring an ice chest full of cold beer with me when I walked outside

About 4 years ago a friend gave a pair of broken Bose noise cancelling headphones, cuz I am the kind of person who will take broken shit. Been so used to my nice quiet house that I cannot handle all the noise in the office so set about to try and fix them. $12 worth of parts from Amazon and they are working just fine, although they don't cancel quite as much noise as I would like but they are about 2 generations old.
lol. my wife made the mistake of getting a pair for the kids. now i have to walk up right behind them and scream when i want them to get off the pc.
I thought you were supposed to have them so you don't hear the kids.
I’m assuming that’s why you have them, for the noises coming from the basement?
That is like the sound of a soft breeze and songbirds to me. This is for annoying loud people at work.
that's one of the things I love about my job. no co workers and most of the dialysis clients sleep during transport. I have peace and quiet for most of the workday.
