But you, me and the average jo-blow can't buy them.TheMontashu said:talk to luke he has a costom push shock
Although I wouldn't count Push out, for the time being the shock I have is not in production.TheMontashu said:talk to luke he has a costom push shock

The avy will fit between the top tubes on the 04 large turner no problems, the 04 medium requires a slight mod (my frame is a 04 medium) to fit but it will work, and the 04 small doesn't and will need to be mounted on the seat mast like Espens old bike.

other option : 2 weeks ago I saw a DHR with a Fox Vanilla DH (with the remote reservoir fixed on the swingarm).Acadian said:you're only options as of now is Romic, Ava or maybe that 3 way Swinger.
but those were never manufactured.tne said:other option : 2 weeks ago I saw a DHR with a Fox Vanilla DH (with the remote reservoir fixed on the swingarm).
Maybe never sold separately, but they were available on the 2003 Kona Stab Primo (and maybe some other bikes ?), so you can find a used one .. if you're lucky enough ...Acadian said:but those were never manufactured.
I'm 98% sure the Kona Stab Primo uses a different shock lenght/stroke than the DHR.tne said:Maybe never sold separately, but they were available on the 2003 Kona Stab Primo (and maybe some other bikes ?), so you can find a used one .. if you're lucky enough ...
Anyway, it should be easier to find a Vanilla DH than a Push
Any truth to that? Or just internet chatter?? Is the remote res from FOX? Or is Push modifying them already??ViolentVolante said:Never, but the remote res. version of the pushed DHX goes on sale around interbike
maybee this was just a rumor but i heard that there supposed to come out in 05 but i havent seen or heard anything about them so your probly right.but those were never manufactured.
that would be why we suggested shocks without resoviors or with remote resivores. and welcome to rm its an awsome placeThe DHX?
and Turner uses 9.5x3.0ChrisRobin said:The Stab Primo has the 8.75/2.75 size...plus apparently the OEM Vanilla DH on the Stabs were regular Fox RCs with remote resevoirs, that's it.
Unless Darren feels like making stuff up on the phone its probably true. Its a push remote reservior kit (think Turner-Honda RCs)oly said:Any truth to that? Or just internet chatter?? Is the remote res from FOX? Or is Push modifying them already??
That's right for the 2003 Stab Primo, but the one on the 2004 Stab Primo is the real Vanilla DH, with the AVA technology.ChrisRobin said:The Stab Primo has the 8.75/2.75 size...plus apparently the OEM Vanilla DH on the Stabs were regular Fox RCs with remote resevoirs, that's it.
Yesterday, I saw at the WC the dhr of Justin Leov and Lars Peyer, who are support by Supension Center. They have the news fox dhx shocks with remote reservoirs but I don't now if it's a tunning from Supension Center or Fox.tne said:
Really? that is interresting! Would be nice to have Fox offer that option.PAMS 25 said:Yesterday, I saw at the WC the dhr of Justin Leov and Lars Peyer, who are support by Supension Center. Yes and it's a clean work, the remote reservoirs is fixed on the frame pivot by a longer bolt. I don't have any pics but it's look like that :Acadian said:Really? that is interresting! Would be nice to have Fox offer that option.
care to elaborate on this?vitox said:ill get on the chopping up of an RC this week to see about the remote reservoir thing, dont really think its going to be all that difficult at all.
here a pic from fridays frankenfoxing session that resulted in an interesting shock for disco and 02 dhr owners in the sense that its the stock length but 1/4" extra stroke.
is this the one?PAMS 25 said:Yes and it's a clean work, the remote reservoirs is fixed on the frame pivot by a longer bolt. I don't have any pics but it's look like that :
Maybe, you can get more information if you send an email: suspension.center@bluewin.ch

1/4" extra stroke would result in how much extra travel?
I can hear my '02 crying for some extra travel halfway across town
