I weigh 170. Do more hucking than racing.
the 05 dhr has 550 spring on its dhx.
What spring rate should i use? when i use tftuned spring rate calc. it says 350. Seems too soft though. thinking 450.

thanks for any info

450 should be pretty good. I am about 190 in gear and I run a 400 lb spring. I dont do a bunch of hucking, more just fast DH'n at whistler and the like, but I have no prob hitting 10 - 12 footers to transition with out any bottoming.

The DHR is very progressive in nature. Ad to that the DHX bottom out adjustment, and you have a set up that is not very easy to bottom.
