Estimated for springtime next year, which in this fairy dreamland of uber-optimistic or just plain fictitiously estimated release dates and production delays known as the bike industry should mean sometime next summer. Wow, that was only mildly bitter eh? Haha.
Is anyone a 'little' disapointed in how this frame has turned out?
Above the 49th parallel the Devinci Wilson and 8-flat-8 are almost identical. (They are sold with a horst link up here).
I'm sure that in the flesh I'll still drool over it however it just doesn't stand out as being particularily innovative.
So, what was innovative about the RFX? Or the DHR for that matter? The RFX is a simple Horst link bike with no particular distinguishing characteristics (other than the use of their bushings), the DHR is a simple single pivot.
Really, Turner isn't an innovative company, but what they do is build a very high quality, refined frame with a good geometry.
Innovation is great, but there's a lot to be said for producing a tried-and-true design better than anyone else.
i think the new highline looks great, however i am disappointed that they strayed from the look of the prototype, with the square tubes the thing just looked gnar
