So I want to put together a server for the network for our new house. The main use would be backup, and media sharing so my roommate and I can drag and drop movies onto the server and watch them through the PS3. Both the server and the PS3 will be hardwired to the network. I know there's a million ways to do this but I don't know what direction to go with this. Has anyone done anything similar? The computer I have to work with has a 3.2Ghz processor, 1gb RAM, and a 160 gb 7200rpm hard drive. And if the server works well enough we're going to add two additional 1tb drives.
