I remember my Mom fought a MBTA Cop because she walked us all down to the Andrews Station during the height of a snow storm and it was closed. The only other time I saw it closed was when the Celtics beat the Lakers to win the championship. The cops didn't arrest my Mom in exchange for her going home quietly. They drove us home in a Paddy Wagon. If we ever recounted the tale she would chase us around with the wooden spoon.

I didn't feel like eating or drinking beer for an entire week when I had the flu recently. It was terrible. And then when I felt better my sense of taste was all effed up and beer tasted too bitter and weird. I suffered through and persevered until things god back to normal.
