Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King is showing a few times over the next week or so on Sci-Fi channel.

I dl'ed the subtitled version a year ago, from France or Sweden or one of them and thought it was very good version of the Ring of the Nebulungs... ya know, where Wagner's opera, Tolkien's Ring, etc are based on.

I've had a hard time with the Sci-Fi channel ever since they came out with "Mansquito".
FYI: this show has nothing to do with Sci-Fi channel other than simply being aired on it. It was a european production that did very well over there.

reading old norse sounds cool, but I'm too lazy.
I have a hard enough time reading the translated versions. :p

Norse mythology is great. Almost as cool as Celtic mythology!

I took a course in ancient scandanavian lit.

The best thing is: If you are a viking and you want to insult another viking what you do is make a giant statue of a dude giving it to another dude in the bum. You then label the giver with your name and the reciever with your target's name.

I am currently looking into updating this practice for use in modern society. I will keep you all posted.
