Here's my new ride:

24 bikes Le Dude- Adjustable wheelbase from 16.15" to 16.9". 66.5 degree for the head angle w/ 130mm fork, it's pretty adjustable too, a 170mm fork could give a 64.5 degree head angle according to the guy at 24, with a +1.5 adjustment, blah, blah, blah

Dorado SC
Vanilla RC (5.5" to 6.7" travel, I've got a custom romic coming for about 7" of travel)
Middleburn Cranks
Azonic Outlaw Wheelset
Azonc A-frame pedals
Maxxis Hookworm's
Easton Carbon DH bar
Thomson stem and post
Evil Chainguide
FSA ring
XTR shifter, rear der, chain
XT cassette
King HS
Hayes 8"

It's at about 39 lbs and it'll shed a few when (if?) I cn find some Kenda K-rads and put some Stan's in em.

What do ya think?

Not really. There's tons of stair cases downtown but there's also lots of tourists so timing is a thing. The trails are pretty wet with lots of growth. There's potential but nobody's getting together to make something happen. Everything is BLM or native corporation land. Keeps it pretty though :D

Not in Juneau. We're a temperate rainforest. Think Seattle with four times as much rain. Having glaciers everywhere and being on the ocean causes some funky weather sometimes.

Cool bike. Yeah hookworms are heavy, got some. We've got some K-rads on a demo bike at work, seem like good street, park, dirt jump tires. Let me know how they hold up on the stair gaps with the Stan's mod.

Sweet ride. I've always thought those were cool but never seen one built up. How's it soo light? Frames gotta be burly and you have some heavy stuff on there.

Thanks. I dunno. The middleburns, thomson stuff, outlaws, and carbon bars helps a bit, the frame is pretty heavy, but not too bad, and we weighed it on a scale at the shop. The kind that hangs from the ceiling so I'm sure there's some margin of error there.

It wasn't a digital scale. It was kind of like a big postal scale that used the weight of the object to move an indicator along a scale. It hung from the ceiling and the bike came in at 39 when it stopped bouncing. I'm sure that's not too accurate but it was the best we could do at the time.

Nah, best best is to bring a fishing pole instead. The riding is pretty sucky, prolly not really worth bringing a bike, but the fishing . . .oh man, the kings, especially around the beginning of June. Be sure to bring raingear. :p

That's damn sexy all built up. I saw those frames on Unreal Cycles and thought they were ugly, but I'm changing my mind...

Yeah, Vancouver as a back-up, that sucks  . A road bike would be pretty sweet, there's just not too much road here. About 40 miles from tip to tip is all. Bring a camera and a fishing pole, that's the ticket.

I like that head angle...
Only think the shock should be mounted like a Bullet on the frame !
I'm not knocking it-just my opinion!
Throw a MONSTER-T on that bad boy!!!!!!!!!!
nice ride.

Yeah, dw said the same thing. It looks like I can only rotate a few degrees but that should get the slats up to the 12:00 position, or closer. I was afraid it would put too much tension on the chain.

It's gonna have a slider plus on it real soon (thanks Rabie) and Romic just shipped out the shock.

Yeah, I was going to go the super burly route on the cranks. Middleburns carry a lifetime warranty (even for DH) and they're pretty darn light. Not the prettiest things, but nice in a functional way.

Yeah, I tell myself that everyday so I won't forget.

You're good enough, you're smart enough, and gosh darn it, you've got a filthy bike.

Thanks for the extra reinforcement though;)

The post count kinda got trippy so this one makes it one hundie. Guess I should've thought of something more clever for the occasion.
