Anyone here know of 2003 Shiver SCs twisting in the cryofit crowns ?

Err my decals aren't where they used to be. I contacted Zoke. Just wanted to see if anyone had seen this. I hope they can fix it. It is a great fork. Unless they offer a new 66 instead.

I have a buddy that the same exact thing happened to on his '02 shiver sc. He's been lazy and not sent it back to zokes yet though so I don't know any more than that it happened. Fill us in on what they say about it.

Not sure how upper would twist, or if it would make any difference. I mean the twisting af an upper on a single crown fork would do nothing, the lowers can still spin independant of the uppers. I can't see the problem outside the stickers being in a different place.

if it's the cryo-fit i see a problem. They're not supposed to move! I'd call zochi asap and see what they say. I've never heard of it.

Those uppers are press fit into the crowns and are never supposed to come out. If they are being able to twist than that means that there is a possibility of them coming out of the crowns as they are apparently seperated enough to twist. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want my fork to come apart like that while I'm riding.

And what possible forces could twist the upper leg of a single crown fork???
Am I missing something here???

It went to Marzocchi. They checked it. Found NADA. So it must have been an error on my part. The decals seemed to be out of line. I dunno. But, they say its fine and stand behind it on paper... . And I feel better that it got inspected and serviced. (rides awesome)
