So are the Dh races in our area over after Charlotte, Snowshoe, and Winrock? (and the last two races are on the same day!)
Anymore within 5hrs of East TN ?
I'm just not satisfied, although I went to all races except one. Where has this season gone?

Oh....I forgot about the A.C.E. River Adventure DH race Sept 5th in West Virginia.
It's nothing spectacular.....but it was fast and fun.

Schedule (SUN 9/5)

Rush Run Rampage Downhill Race:
8am to 10am - On-Site Registration & Packet Pickup
10:00am - PreRace Meeting
11:00am - Required PreRide (shuttle included) - body armor recommended
12:00pm - Downhill Race Start (immediately follows pre-ride)
4:00pm - Awards Ceremony (approximate time)
4:00pm to 7:00pm - FREE Pasta Dinner for Downhill Racers ($5 per person to others)

That was a fun race several years back when it ran down an abondoned fire road....the bus ride back was cool too! I dropped to flat off the back of it...SWEET!

I just knew you were going to have a MADHRA field trip this year.......rent a Greyhound Bus have all the "members" pitch in on the fare and head up to Plattekill for the weekend. No driving...just riding!
