Tried a new Imperial Porter last night (see title). Not bad at all. It had the smoky character of a good porter and was very heavy (which I like). IT was more caramel-like thatn other porters I have had recently. I'm not really sure how to describe it. It did not have teh smothe finish of a good stout, but it did not have the bite of an IPA. I guess it was somewhere in the middle -like a stout with a IPA poured in it (in a good way).
