The Syndicate arrives in Italy, and gets back to racing after what seems like an eternity. Mixed fortunes abounded here - Josh Bryceland qualified 7th but then slipped a pedal and did some dirt surfing in the final. Peaty got pinballed by the course (along with just about everyone else), finishing 14th when the dust settled. Greg Minnaar, after a close-fought win at the opening round in Pietermaritzburg, claimed a strong 2nd in both qualifying and the main, and now shares the World Cup lead with Aaron Gwin (who scorched the entire field here, stomping both quallies and the main by margins of more than 7 seconds...)
