Just found this while looking for road stats (elevation/distance). I've hiked Mt Washington but know little about the road:

Yeah I saw the results of the Mt. Washington race in the Globe this morning. Major props to Ned.....Tyler on the other hand is lucky to still have his gold medal. (Maybe he should dedicate his win to his "twin")
Ned is the freaking man. He won the Co. state road bike championship and some of the he raced against weren't born the last time he won it.

Thanks. I though that it was ~7 miles but couldn't remember. I'd forgotten that its a 4600' elevation gain. :vomit: I've set up a bunch of bikes for doing it. It was funny installing stuff like Altus atb cranks on nice road bikes.

What the UCI says applies to USCF also. The race was non-sanctioned. But I know that it was a sports arbitraiton board that instituted the 2-year ban, but I do not know who they were working for. If you look in a USCF rule book under Doping, it says "Same as UCI".PsychO!1 said:

Its a pretty big deal. It costs big bucks to enter and you are not even guaranteed to race. The whether on Mt Washington is some of the worst in the world. Up until a few years ago Audi was giving a car away to anyone who could break the record. I'm pretty sure that Tyler one more than one. The second one he kept in memory of his twin.
