I believe he is innocent, partly because of the person and partly because of his enormous defense. But when hear about unborn twins and disputing blood tests from months ago, I wonder if he is grasping for straws. I vote he is found guilty, but I think he is still innocent.

Yeah, spend any time in any proximity to pro cycling and you realize that sad truth: The rules arre set up so that everyone can cheat to a certain extend. Just so long as everyone is on par, the competition remains good. A little doping is in the best interest of the sport.
A while ago I talked to a physician about the blood-doping rules. I wish I could remember the numbers. But it was something like this: Normal red blood cell count is 50, but to fail a UCI test you need to score 100 or above. Even after you factor in statistical variances, 100 is just ridiculous. But the UCI always falls back on excuses like "We are not dealing with normal people". Its such crap.
