I can't believe no one noticed the absence of the famed Monster T and Super monster at the show AND the 05 catalogue!

all joking aside we only sold 1 of them all year at Go-Ride.

888's pretty much kill it for me,but some will certainly miss the Monster.

So all you tough guys post pics of your bikes with Monsters on em!!! :D

I'll miss it. I think they should make a retro '00 monster with newer 7" cartidges. Just for those riders who don't care about weight but are looking for the ultimate in stiffness and durability.

was that super monsters or monsters in general?

i lost intrest in the monster after 2002, its a shame though, i think they were THE fork that defined a dicipline, i think we'll all miss them for different reasons.

gone but not forgotten.

so they are 100% definitly gone?
i find it hard to get my head around it, they've been around so long its hard to remember MTB without them.

really i don't know for sure if they are gone but they aren't being advertised by Zoke.
We sold 1 monster and the guy freaked and sent it back!Probably still has tennis Elbow from pulling it out of the box.
Then a local huckster bought it after wrecking his Super.
In 03 we sold the 1 and only Super Monster we brought in to a guy with an Army.
Where are the Real Monsters-the 200mm new ones?? Lemme see!Meanwhile i will try to find a pic of my Army with a 9" Champ with the Big Daddy tripple pinch bolt kit on it!!
Long live Big Bikes of old. :thumb:

Wow, was this a joke or are you 12 or something? No offense but come on...I'm not that old and I remember rigid bikes. Riding them, that is, not just seeing them in Fisher ads.

My uber huckster drop on a "borrowed" monster. I kind of swiped it from a friend and took off, hence the lack of helmet. This was the biggest drop I could get to without pushing that beast uphill.

Since this has turned out to post your sweet bike with huge fork on it... here is one of my Dare with a Champ 9". Totally sweet!

That use to be my favorite bike. I still have that pic hanging on my wall. I miss the old BMW sites pics especially the one with the shinbugers ripping thru flesh.
Oh, my new favorite BMW bike is a Chrome Race Link.

My recently sold 02 hard at work. I really did like that fork the most I've owned but I needed the money so I had to part ways with it. It was a real performer...

Bling Bling.

I can't get over the fact that Krispy, Mike, and V-Dub all responded in one thread. :)

Anyway, I'll most certainly miss the monster T. I like my 888, but nothing says "BEEF" like the Monster T. The Monster T is a freaking legend. They shouldn't discontinue it, they should remake the 2002 model... only in an 8" model, with the new-gen HSCV cartridges in it.

2002 RFX with OLD 99-Monsters. My first try on dh-forks, was fun, but to much fork for this bike.

Also, probably the worst looking saddle ever :-D

yeah, marzocchi seemed to lose the plot w/ the '03 monsters. never really heard anyone ever praise that fork, unlike the '01/'02 versions.

i've still got my '01 tucked in the basement. not sure what bike it will get back on, but it's certainly a great feeling fork. maybe i should fill the stanchions w/ helium.

A friend of mine has a Monster on his cross country bike. Since he (BMXR) is on vacation riding in North Carolina (bastard) I figured I would post it for him. :D

What would a thread about Monsters and Super Monsters be without a pic of Bender? Well........I guess it would be a thread without Bender. So, here's a pic I shot of him last January. I don't remember the name of the drop but it was pretty sweet.

Oh you wanted new ones? BIG forks? Sorry my mistake.

Here is BMXr's trail bike.

Here is another local with big forks. The Karp is his big bike and the one with the Monster (Risse?) is his wife's big bike.

What is it with us stupid Floridians with big forks? This place is as flat as a 8 year old girl!
